The Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals, now in its 10th year the top Late Model Drivers in the Nation to compete in the three day event. Featuring a full program each night of racing, drivers will qualify on Thursday and may race again on Friday to improve their standings for the main show on Saturday, September 28th. The total purse for the three day event is $266,010 with the winner taking home $40,000 Saturday night.

Happenings
Hall of Fame Auction
The auction will be held at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum behind turn two on Saturday. Items will include driver and team donated items. It's lots of fun, and the monies raised are shared with the National Dirt Late Model Museum.
Meet the Drivers
A meet and greet session will be held on Saturday after the Celebrity Luncheon and Auction. It will be held in the Dyer-Hudson Hall off the Midway. Last year,
the free event ran for over two hours as hundreds of fans lined up
to meet, talk and get pictures and autographs from more than 25 drivers. Fans are encouraged to bring their favorite apparel and photos for the drivers to autograph! 3:00 PM.
Fan and Trade Show
Free of charge, the fan and trade show will run from 1 pm to 7 pm each day with exhibits on the Midway and at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum.
Knoxville Late Model Nationals Golf Tournament
On Friday, September 28th the Knoxville Wrestling Club will be hosting a charity golf tournament at the Pine Knolls Golf and Country Club in Knoxville. The tournament is a 4 person best ball event with a 9 am start. For entry go to http://www.knoxvilleraceway.com/FileGet.aspx?id=201
Format
KNOXVILLE LUCAS OIL LATE MODEL NATIONALS 2013 Format
1. Pit parking will begin at 4:00 PM on Thursday.
2.Once haulers enter the infield upon they can remain there
for the 3-day event! Teams may, at their option, pull out each night and
re-enter the next day after 2 p.m.
3. All teams may run both Thursday & Friday!
a. All drivers and teams must sign in, go through "tech" and race Thursday night, September 26th.
b.All drivers and teams can run again Friday night, September 27th.
c. Each Qualifying night has a published purse of $35,580 with $7,000
to Win!
d. ONLY ONE NIGHTS POINT TOTAL WILL COUNT AS THE QUALIFIER FOR
SATURDAY LINE UPS. Knoxville Raceway will use the highest point total
night for each driver. Points are not combined if you run both nights.
4. Each Preliminary Night
Time trials – 200 points for fastest, 198 for 2nd, etc.
Heats - 100 points to win, 97 for 2nd, etc.

C Feature – 100 points to win, 98 points for 2nd, etc.
