Bio:

Clint Garner moved back to the 410 class in 2014 and got better as the year went on. In 2013, he had won a record fifth consecutive 360 track championship. He now has 20 career wins in the 360’s (third all-time) to add to a pair in the 410 class. He is one of only four drivers (Bronson Maeschen, Tim St. Arnold, Randy Smith) to have won in all three sprint car classes at Knoxville.

Clint showed up for the first time at Knoxville in 2001 with a 410 for Twin Features night. He promptly turned heads by finishing in the top ten in both features. His best 410 season at Knoxville came in 2006, when he finished third in the standings.

Clint started in sprint cars in 1993, racing IMCA 360s. He won his first feature in August at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls. His first win at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota came in 1996, and he would win the 360 championship there in 2002. He dominated the competition at Huset’s that season, winning ten times and taking home the track and NMRA championship. He won 19 races overall that season, including his first career Knoxville victory. He was also second in 360 points that season, and finished third in the Tournament of Champions.

Clint has over 80 wins in sprint car competition in his career. A testament to his versatility can be seen in 2008, where he won in 410, 360 and 305 competition. Clint prides himself in his technical knowledge, and has worked on the World of Outlaws tour with such drivers as Steve Kinser, Jason Sides and Tyler Walker.
