This year’s Queen Candidates are; Leah Blaney (Hartfod, OH), Shannon Edd (Standford, CA), Brandi George (Venice, FL), Sadie Mae Jones (Crescent, IA) Lindsey Kekich (West Middlessex, PA), Lacie Lambert (Knoxville, IA), Michaela La Spina (Rancho Cordova, CA), Blaney Markman (Jackson, MN), Brooke Martens (Wentworth, SD), Ally McClure (Bloomfield, IA), Beth Meyer (Sheboygan Falls, WI), Brooke Nattress (Luverne, MN), Shauna Schmitt (Knoxville, IA), Kila Timm (Roseland, NE), Jacee Wren (College Station, TX).

“Being the Knoxville Nationals queen is, to this day, one of my favorite memories of growing up at the races,”said Jacobs. “To not only be at the greatest race in the sport, but also to be a part of it made that year really special for me. I'm flattered that I was asked to come back. Beyond the crown and the pictures and everything else, these girls will make lifelong friends from this pageant. The whole event is a bonding experience with girls who all have a passion for racing. I know they'll all be a little nervous, but I hope they can get past that and really enjoy the whole experience."

The formal event is organized by Contest Coordinator, Christi Woodruff. This year’s judges are Traci Newendorp, 2011 Nationals Queen Jennifer Nissen, Cassie Smith, World of Outlaws driver David Gravel, Jason Hoch with Wells Fargo Bank, and 2013 Knoxville Raceway Champion driver Bronson Maeschen.

Special thanks to the following people for their support and donations to help put on the Knoxville Nationals Queen Contest: Knoxville Raceway, National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, Jay Smith, Mr. C’s, 3M, Gibson Jewelry, Candi’s Flowers, Dennison Racing T’s, and all the drivers who donated t-shirts.
