Bio:

Josh Higday has been one of the prominent competitors in the 360 class for the last twenty years. The 1999 Rookie of the Year in the division accomplished his goal of track champion in 2007.

After almost a decade off of full-time racing, Josh returned to drive for Kevin Hetrick and the Hetrick Motorsports #35 team in 2019. Their improvement in their second season together was evident, as they came home with a top five point standing in 2020. In 2021 came another top five run, and Josh's 18th career win at Knoxville. In 2022, Josh competed in the 410 class, but will return to the 360's in 2023.

His 17 career wins in the 360 class place him sixth on the all-time list. Josh turned in an outstanding year in 2002. In addition to being named the 360 “Sportsman of the Year”, the 360 “Lyle Boyd Hard Charger Award” (which he duplicated in 2006) and the 360 “Junior Fan Club Driver of the Year”, he also won the BRODIX Tournament of Champions, and was the 410 Knoxville Nationals Rookie of the Year. In 2003, Josh registered a win in one of the 360 Nationals prelims.
