How to Nominate Someone

It is the intent of the Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame Committee to elect a minimum of six inductees each year, with inductions taking place on the last Saturday of June.

This honor is intended to recognize individuals who are worthy of acknowledgment for their lifetime contributions to the betterment and success of Knoxville Raceway.

Deadline for nominations each year is April 30th.

When submitting nominations they should include a short bio and statistics.

Eligibility Guidelines

The following are suggested minimum guidelines and criteria for each category.

-Retired Drivers: Must be retired from competition for a minimum of one full calendar year. Suggested minimum of three feature wins at Knoxville Raceway or have documented 20 seasons of regular competition at Knoxville Raceway.

-Active Drivers: Must be 50 years of age and also have earned a Knoxville Raceway track championship.

-Car Owner or Mechanic; Suggested Minimum of 20 years of involvement in sprint car racing, primarily at Knoxville Raceway.

-Meritorious Service Nominee's such as; Race Officials, Employees, Sponsor, Marketing Partner, Media Member, Fair Board Member the suggested minimum is 20 years of service or involvement with Knoxville Raceway.

Nominations that do not fully meet these criteria will still be reviewed and considered by the committee.
