Welcome to Local 5/Iowa Live Night at the Knoxville Raceway! Over 80 cars have signed in tonight amongst the three classes. It was great racing a week ago, and we can expect the same on a beautiful night in Iowa!

6:12 p.m. Pros are ready to hit the track for their qualifying...three laps on the clock...

Clarke is DQed for being light at the scales. Hansen missed his time slot, so he just gets one lap scored...

Matt Allen had quick time at 17.458 seconds, ahead of Tyler Thompson, J Kinder, Casey Friedrichsen, Carter Hansen and Luke Lane...

JJ Hickle sets the standard in the first group at 15.907 seconds, ahead of Sawyer Phillips, last night's Sprint Invaders winner in Eldon, Tony Rost, Cam Sorrels and Evan Semerad...

Jamie Ball is your quick timer with 15.983 seconds, ahead of Sam Hafertepe Jr., Ryan Giles, Cam Martin and Kade Higday...

Justin Henderson sets quick time at 15.438, followed by Ryan Timms, Kaleb Johnson, Jace Park and Clint Garner...

Brian Brown is quick time overall and in the second group at 15.319, followed by Austin McCarl, Jack Anderson, Chris Martin and Lynton Jeffrey

Heat 2

Hickle leads Timms, Park, Schneiderman and RJ Johnson....Hickle slows and exits on lap 3...that puts the transfer battle between Potter and S Johnson...they are side by side....Timms has a healthy lead now over Park, Schneiderman, RJ Johnson and S Johnson...Potter is still in contention sitting right behind S Johnson for 5th...Timms, Park, Schneiderman, RJ Johnson and S Johnson move on....

Heat 3

Ball leads Brown, Jeffrey, TMAC and Goodno early...Goodno reeling in TMAC....Good battle for the lead, Brown is right there in second and Ball is making himself wide coming off the corners...J Anderson is off....Ball, Brown, Jeffrey, TMAC and Goodno to the A...it was a throttle cable for J Anderson...

Heat 4

Watt out front ahead of A McCarl, Sawyer, Chr Martin and Gennetten....now A McCarl to the lead on lap 2...Moran now finds his way by Gennetten...Ayrton is fighting back in a battle for the transfer...A McCarl is dominating this one...A McCarl, Watt, Martin, Sawyer and Gennetten will transfer...

360 B main is next, 10 laps, top four to the A...

Potter leads Dobie, Selvage, Benson and Huband...Dobie now works under Potter to take the lead...Selvage works by Potter for 2nd...Selvage challenging for the lead, he has it with three to go...Selvage, Dobie, Potter and Benson to the 360 A main...

Hickle and Beaver won't start...C McCarl lto the lead ahead of J Anderson, Peterson, Moran and Kemenah...Ben Brown shoots from sixth to fourth...J Anderson to the lead, then C MCCarl, Moran and Ben Brown...Kemenah is gaining on Brown for the final transfer...J Anderson, C McCarl, Moran and Ben Brown transfer to the main event!

Clark will not start...H Lane comes to a stop on the bottom of turn one as we try to get started...he will restart at the tail...incident on the next try at green, Allen and L Lane get together...Allen and Thompson upside down...Heavy damage to H Lane, Mayberry, B Johnson also involved...H Lane, Allen, Thompson and Mayberry retire...Kinder to the lead ahead of Friedrichsen, L Lane who restarted 9th, Wilke and C Young...B Johnson pulls off with 10 to go...L Lane pulls in while running third with two to go...Kinder will win #15 here at Knoxville...

Ben Brown puils off...Ball spins and brings caution before a lap can be completed...complete restart...Watt out to the early leada ahead of Park, Brown, A McCarl, Timms...A McCarl by Brown for 3rd on lap two...Timms by Brown for 4th on lap four...rubber developing...A McCarl and Timms by Park for second and third...lap 6, A McCarl by Watt for the lead...lap 7, Timms by Watt for 2nd...A McCarl backed up by traffic...getting tight up front...Brown by Park for 4th on lap 13...Timms waiting for a mistake...it doesn't come and A McCarl wins it!
