Mason Oberkramer attends Knoxville Nationals

Thursday night found Mason Oberkramer in action at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) kicked off the 17th annual Knoxville Nationals presented by Brandt. In a field of 48 cars, Mason missed a transfer spot in his heat by three positions, sending him into the B-Main. The following night for another round of preliminary features, Oberkramer was an early retiree from his heat, relegating him into the B-Main. Needing to place third or better in his B-Main, Mason logged an 11th-place outing.

Rolling off on the fourth row of his B-Main on Saturday for one final shot at the $50,000-to-win Knoxville Nationals, Mason fell three spots shy of a transfer position with a sixth-place finish.
