Kade Higday's passion for racing began at just five years old. Over the years, he has developed his skills through a variety of disciplines, including four-wheelers, go-karts, micro sprints, and ultimately sprint cars. Coming from a racing family, Kade benefits from the guidance of his father, Josh Higday-an 18-time feature winner and former 360 points champion at Knoxville Raceway-who lends his expertise as his crew chief.
The 2025 season marks Kade's ninth year racing sprint cars, and his career continues to show strong momentum. He currently holds eight career feature wins at Knoxville Raceway. In 2023, he captured the Pro Sprints points championship while also gaining valuable experience behind the wheel of both 360 and 410 sprint cars.
In 2024, Kade stepped up full-time to Knoxville's competitive 360 class, where he was named Rookie of the Year. Highlights of his season include a third-place podium finish on his preliminary night of the 360 Nationals. He closed out the season with a fifth-place finish in points, collecting 2 top-five finishes and 7 top-ten finishes across 13 feature events.
Looking ahead to 2025, Kade will continue to compete in the 360 division driving the Kade Higday Racing 24H. Additionally, he will expand his presence in the 410 class as the driver of the 10V for VanderEcken Motorsports, both at Knoxville Raceway
