After competing on a limited basis several years ago, John Anderson returned to Knoxville, and competed in his first full year in 2015, registering 15th in the final rundown. The congenial driver's high water mark of 14th in points was matched in 2021 after qualifying for eight feature events.
John had a fight with cancer treatment in 2025, yet didn't miss a night of competition at Knoxville.
