Ricky is planning on competing with the Lucas Oil ASCS series full-time in 2009. Ricky has been competing for a few years in New Zealand during our winters, and was crowned the 2007-08 Sprintcar Champion there.

Ricky has won races in 25 different states and New Zealand, and has competed in a number of different motorsports including ARCA, NASCAR Winston West, stock cars, late models and midgets. He was the inaugural "Mr. Sprint Car" in 2002 during Southern Iowa Sprintweek. At one point in 1995, Ricky won eleven races in a row.
