After Chad’s cousin, Frankie Heimbaugh’s nasty crash two seasons ago on Master’s Classic practice night, the Heimbaugh team was all but done racing. Chad had crewed for Frankie for many years, and had always wanted to race- so when he approached Frankie about buying the car from him, Chad’s racing dreams began to materialize. Chad’s first full season of racing was last year, with a career highlight of a 14th place finish on Twin Features night. Chad is looking forward to the 2010 season and hopes to better his racing consistency.
