The nephew of 8-time Knoxville track champion, Danny Lasoski, Brian has more than made a name for himself at the Sprint Car Capital of the World…and beyond with 80+ wins. He accomplished goals by becoming 410 track champion at Knoxville in 2007 and 2010.
He qualified for his first Nationals A main start (earning hard-charger honors) in 2007, and in 2010, sat on the pole of the Knoxville Nationals.
In 2009, his first full year as driver and owner of the Brian Brown Racing #21, he finished a close second in the championship standings and earned 410 "Car Owner of the Year" honors.
After spending much of his youth crewing for Lasoski and learning from his grandfather George Lasoski, Brian began his career by winning the 2000 Winged Outlaw Warriors (360) championship in his first full season of racing. He came to Knoxville full-time in 2002, and promptly won both the 360 track championship and Rookie of the Year honors, ripping off five straight wins along the way. After taking over as a car owner following the 2008 Knoxville season, Brian ripped off four wins, including the 1st Annual Cowtown Nationals in Kennedale, Texas.
Brian jumped into the 410 ranks the following season and recorded his first Knoxville win in that class. He spent half of 2004 racing with the World of Outlaws before returning to Knoxville the past four seasons. His second place standing in 2006, fell just five points short, before breaking through in 2007.
