Knoxville opens 2019 this weekend
(Knoxville, IA) -- This Saturday is the 66th annual Town Crier, Ltd. / Kraig Ford / Pella Motors Season Opener will be staged at the famed Knoxville Raceway.
Friday is Practice Night. Cars will hot lap from approximately 7pm-9pm with Free admission to the grandstands.
Kick-Off Party is from 6pm-7pm and you must show a ticket for Saturday to enter.
A celebration of life for Norm Wadle will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. His family will be there to join in with friends to celebrate his life. Norm, a Knoxville Raceway Hall of Famer, was a fixture for decades around Knoxville Raceway and the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.
