Welcome to the Sprint Car Capital of the World

Media Credentials for the 2026 Knoxville Championship Series, WoO, and USAC events are now open. Click HERE

Media Credentials for the August Nationals events will open by June 15, 2026. Deadline will be August 3 at 5pm CT.

Media Credentials for the Late Model Knoxville Nationals will open by September 1, 2026. Deadline will be September 15 at 5pm CT.

Media Credential General Guidelines
Knoxville Raceway welcomes all members of the media to request credentials. All requests are reviewed with regards to broadcast (radio & television) licensing and agreements that will be in place for each event. Efforts will be made to honor all requests, but the track and sanctioning bodies may reserve the right to change or deny any media requests.

Media Credentials will be issued only to recognized newspapers, news services, publications, and internet sites that regularly cover sprint cars and dirt track motorsports; as well as national and local news television and radio networks. Freelance media must be on assignment and included on the application form. Please refer to the Media Credential Policies for additional information regarding eligibility and requirements.

Working accredited media are defined as person who is demonstrating an acceptable job role who are on assignment, for a specific media outlet. Media Outlets such as Print, Online, TV, Radio, DIRTVision and FloRacing Streaming Services, or Podcasts are considered traditional media forms.

If you are applying as a "Social Media Influencer" you must meet the minimum of 10,0000 followers on one specific platform.

We are willing to allow a small number of freelance or independent photographers and videographers under a "Deliverables Agreement" with Knoxville Raceway.

About Knoxville Raceway:

The track was originally built in 1878 for horse racing. Banking was added to the corners in 1954 for sanctioned stock car competition. Weekly sanctioned racing would evolve into sprint cars by the 1960's.

Fans flock to Knoxville Raceway to experience the most exhilarating and intense dirt track racing in the world. About the NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's:

The 2026 65th NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's will be held August 12-15. The unique format of the Knoxville Nationals makes every lap on the track important. Drivers score points for each performance, from qualifying to heat races, to preliminary night feature events. The champion at the end of the week not only writes his or her name into the history books, but earns the $200,000 winners check. With a total purse exceeding $1 million spread out over the four days, the NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's is the highest paying sprint car race in the world.
