A true affinity for open-wheel racing vaulted Tucker to success in 2014 to compete at the national level with POWRi and USAC National Midgets. In that short amount of time, Tucker has ascended through the ranks of notable motorsports drivers. He was named the runner-up in the POWRi points championship in 2017, won at Perth Motorplex in Australia the same year, and clinched the 2018 POWRi midget championship. Much of his time behind the wheel of a midget came under the tutelage of the legendary Keith Kunz.

In 2020, Tucker is making the move into sprint cars.
