Ryan has been racing for over fifteen years now and is primarily active in 360 and 410 sprint cars. A second generation driver, he followed his father, Don, who raced for 38 years in the South Dakota region. Ryan has over twenty-five feature wins to his credit, and won double track championships in 2012. Those came at I-90 Speedway in Hartford, South Dakota (where he has three titles…also 2008, 2013) and at Huset’s Speedway near Brandon, South Dakota in the 360 class. He finished a career-best fifth in 410 points at Huset’s in 2013. He was also voted The Minnesota Mafia “Sportsman of the Year” in 2014. No stranger to travel, Ryan has seen action all over the Midwest and South, including the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock, Arkansas.
