RJ competed for the fifth year in a row in the 410 class at Knoxville aboard the RMJ Motorsports #71A and posted his highest point finish. In 2019, he will partner with Mike VanderEcken for another 410 assault.
He claimed Rookie of the Year honors in the 410 class in 2014 after doing an admirable job subbing for Brooke Tatnell in 2013 in the Vermeer/Lewis #55. The 29 year old driver came to Knoxville in 2008 having won a track title at East Bay Raceway Park near his Tampa, Florida home. The 2004 USCS Rookie of the Year spent the latter part of 2015 and 2016 traveling east with the World of Outlaws.
