A couple of nasty crashes marred Joe Simbro's rookie season in the 305 class in 2015. He registered 19th in the point standings. He bounced back in 2016 to record a top ten standing, and then came back with a 12th place standing in 2017 and tenth in 2018.

In 2019, Joe moved up to the 410 class, and has logged three top twenty runs in points, including a career-best 16th in 2021.
