Bio:

Chris earned the "Lyle Boyd Hard Charger Award" for passing the most cars in 360 features in 2017. He also picked up a win with NCRA at Thunder Hill Raceway in Mayetta, Kansas after Knoxville's season concluded. It was his first year qualifying for points since he was named the 2009 410 Rookie of the Year at Knoxville despite a ride-swap at mid-season. He started in the Bruce Williams #7K, but had to put the family #7c together in July to finish out the year. He was rewarded with a season-best seventh place run in July.

Chris exited from the sport in 2018 and in 2019 returned to non-wing for eight shows, picking up wins with the Iowa Sprint Car League in Bethany, Missouri and at the "King of Kansas City" POWRi series in Grain Valley, Missouri.

Between 1994 and 1998 Chris won over 70 features and four championships in go-karts and was a mini-sprint Rookie of the Year in 1999.

In 2000, it was a move up to sprints, where Chris won his first sprint feature with the MSCS series. He would add eight wins over the 2001 and 2002 seasons with MSCS. Four top fives in 2002 with the 360 NCRA series in Kansas spurred a move up to the class in 2003.

A mix of 360 and 410 starts in 2004 yielded seven top fives and thirteen top tens. A third place finish with the ASCS National series at US36 Speedway in 2005, set up the first 360 sprint win of his career in 2006 at the same track. Proving his versatility, he picked up a sixth place finish without the wing in the Tourin' Topless series that season. Chris ran a limited schedule in 2007 and 2008, but proved he still had what it takes, finishing 8th in the November Sprint Shootout at the Cowtown Speedway near Fort Worth. In 2010, Chris added another win with the ASCS series, when he came from the B main, starting 15th to win in May at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas.
