Bio:

Rager was born April 3rd, 1988 and attended his very first sprint car race at just 3 weeks of age. Rager began competing in the 360 class in a family owned car in 2000. He has since competed in both the 360 and 410 classes and has run a few races in the 305 class, subbing for his younger brother, Tasker.

Outside the track, Rager farms roughly 3,700 acres of corn and soybeans on his family farm. Rager has two younger brothers, Tasker and Sawyer, who also race at Knoxville. Rager won the 2011 “Hard Luck Award” at Knoxville after mechanical ills forced him out of the B main at the Knoxville Nationals. With just a few laps to go, he was assured of a start on sprint car racing’s biggest stage.

After taking a few years off, he ran several shows with Mike VanderEcken in 2016. He will partner with Shaun Goodno and crew chief Jeff "Woody" Woodruff in the 410 class in 2017.
