Mike took the pole of his A Main, and after fighting off a few cars, he won for the first time in his sprint car racing career in August of 2011. Coming home from a tour of duty on August 9th, his second son being born August 10th and his first win at Knoxville Raceway was the “tri-fecta” for him. In his words, "What more could you ask for?”
Mike competed in the 360 class in 2014 as a rookie in the class, finishing 16th in the point standings. Mike fought an epic battle down to the last night in 2012 but fell one spot short of a title in the 305 class. He has four career wins at Knoxville.
