2010 was a strong season for Agan Motorsports and driver Jon Agan. Agan won three of last four A-feature events he competed in during the 2010 season. That streak began with a Jackson Speedway Touring Series win at Sioux Center, Iowa and was followed by victories in the last two Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup Series events. Agan's first feature win on the season came in July at Knoxville Raceway.
Agan competed primarily at Knoxville Raceway during the 2009 season. Consistent finishes and a win led to an eighth-place finish in the 360 Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup Series.
After stepping away from racing for a couple of years, Agan returned to the cockpit in 2008. Numerous top-three finishes led the team to eighth-place in the standings at Knoxville Raceway while competing in only 75% of the 360 series events.
In 2004, Agan Motorsports ran the full All Star Circuit of Champions season competing in more than sixty events. The team raced against the top sprint car teams in the country and learned valuable knowledge at a variety of race tracks differing in size and surface composition. The experience greatly improved Agan's on-track performance in the following years.
Agan started racing sprint cars while in college at the University of Northern Iowa. Getting an education was his main priority, and managing the race team allowed for real world experience that Agan later translated into his career with Dee Zee, Inc., and as owner of Agan Motorsports.
Agan works for Dee Zee, Inc., a leading manufacturer of light truck and SUV accessories, as an OEM Account Manager. Early in 2008, Jon married Naomi and later welcomed daughter Reese into their family on December 23. Son Reid joined the Agan family on May 31, 2010.
