After taking four years off, Calvin returned to Knoxville in 2014 in the 360 class. He gained strength as the season went on, driving for Knoxville Hall of Fame car owner, Mike VanderEcken, finishing eighth in the final point standings. He repeated that effort in 2015, and won the Saturday before the 360 Nationals in thrilling fashion. He used three podiums in 2016 to finish eighth in the standings one more time. In 2017, he will go back to his family operation.
The Arizona transplant raced nine years at Knoxville in the 410 class before ceasing in 2009. Along the way, came four wins, and six top ten point finishes, including a third place standing in 2007.
Calvin has over forty career wins to his credit in sprint cars, most having come in his native Southwest.
