With 2016’s season fast approaching, Danny Lasoski has one thing on his mind: winning the 2016 Nationals. That being said, a repeat track championship is close behind in his mind.

In their inaugural season as a newly formed team, the Big Game Motorsports-backed duo of Guy Forbrook and Danny Lasoski dominated Knoxville’s half-mile track every Saturday night. The Muddy #2 racked up five feature wins, three quick times, and thirteen top five finishes; and led 65 laps around Knoxville Raceway.

The team is looking to grow their success now that their first season is under their belt. Lasoski says that being one year older as a team can only help improve their performance at Knoxville.

Forbrook and Lasoski are an established force around Knoxville. Lasoski says the two are like brothers; same goals, ambitions, and temperament. They both want to win as badly as the other, and losing is never an option. The pair started out together in 1988, with nearly three decades of mutual competition to build off of. They have paired up off and on throughout the years, with 2015 finding them once again side by side in the trenches of sprint car racing. Knoxville is Lasoski’s kind of track: big and fast. The track preparation and surface are second to none. Every week he shows up, he knows that between Forbrook’s set up and the Dunkin’s track preparation, he will be able to race anywhere on the track surface and dominate. Knoxville’s bottom line is the toughest he’s raced on, and Lasoski looks to master it every time he hits the dirt.

When Lasoski isn’t racing at Knoxville, he will be defending his title with the NSL, as well as racing regional World of Outlaw shows. He is grateful to Tod Quiring for the opportunity to represent Big Game Motorsports in the Muddy #2, as well as all he is doing to promote sprint car racing throughout the Midwest and the country.

Crew on the #2 remains the same for 2016: Guy Forbrook, Nate, James and Brody.
