The North American 410 Sprint Car Poll has named Knoxville Raceway’s Brian Stickel 2014 Promoter of the Year for the second consecutive year. The poll, part of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum’s annual awards, is compiled of votes from media members, promoters, sanctioning officials and manufacturers.

“This award is for the entire Knoxville Raceway staff,” said Stickel. “I am grateful to be part of such a hard-working and dedicated team.” Stickel commented on the award from Australia, where he is attending the Lucas Oil 43rd Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in Warrnambool, Victoria. The event is the final qualifying race for the 2015 Speed Sport Knoxville World Challenge.

The award announcement was made Tuesday evening on the second night of the 2015 Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Awards will be distributed throughout the 2015 racing season.
