Rules Update:
Knoxville Raceway Race Director John McCoy is recommending to the Knoxville Raceway Race Committee to change the minimum age limit from 15 to 16 in the 305 class of sprint cars at Knoxville Raceway for the 2015 season.
“Changing coverage by the insurance industry for the half mile tracks necessitates the need to go back to the 16 year old age requirement” said McCoy.
Drivers must be 16 to run the 360 or 410 classes at Knoxville.
The Knoxville Race committee will decide on this matter at their December meeting.
